The best teams are made up a bunch of nobodies, who love everybody & serve anybody & don’t care about becoming a ‘somebody’!
As an urban youth charity, the team is headed up by project founder & manager Dawnie ‘DJ’ Reynolds, a passionate, experienced, ’real’, edgy, audacious, humorous, big-hearted & ‘highly acclaimed’ motivational communicator. She is available as a motivational or workshop speaker, MC for awards evenings, events, youth / young adult events & initiatives, church services, project launches, staff training days & a wide variety of motivational conferences.
The Ruff & Ruby crew consists of paid staff, sessional workers, associates & volunteers from varied walks of life, all of which have a ‘story’. Our team reflects diversity at its best & celebrates uniqueness and creativity.
The team work across the areas of youth work, life coaching & mentoring, motivational speaking, events, enterprise (volunteering & employability skills), practical support & kindness, & delivering innovative programs & services to young people/young adults across the city.
As a registered charity, we have currently 3 trustees, who are experienced and skilled in the area of young people, project management, life coaching, business, & understanding poverty & its associated socioeconomic issues. Our trustees have a longstanding connection with our CEO & are passionate about the city of Stoke on Trent.
Trustee details can be found on the Charity Commision Website along with our annual accounts and reports.
